What a huge milestone!! So exciting!!

In the summer of 1980 my mom's financial circumstances changed dramatically. This afforded us opportunities that we had not imagined before, and I signed up for a research trip with a company called Earthwatch. Destination Suriname, S.A.

In the second semester of freshman year I found my voice again when my friend Ann organized a musical group called The Offkey Three. I learned to harmonize in a whole new way and we made big plans for our future glory as chick singers.

My first view of the Boston skyline was the day I went up to start my freshman year. So many changes all happening at once, against the backdrop of my first experience in city living. It was there that I met one of my oldest and dearest friends and my next source of musical inspiration.

We arrived in Crete and then took off across the island in two small cars. That was the first bad decision... So many beautiful things to see and so many twists and turns to get there.
