Hour 1:

My first guest tonight was involved in quite a “to-do” last August in McMinnville, TN. He, along with his team, were banned from competing in the KCBS for a period of 3 years. Daniel Pomerantz, former Pitmaster of The Q-Team, will join me for the first hour to go over exactly what happened at that contest. He will also talk openly about the KCBS punishment and other items he has encountered since this event, now almost a year in the passing.

Hour 2:

My first guest in the 2nd hour is the star of the Grillmaster Tour, which travels along with the Sam’s Club BBQ tour. Michael McDearman will talk a bit about his side of the Tour, how to grill a perfect steak and a new product he is bringing to market that will really help pitmasters get “bite through” skin on their chickens.

Coming out of the Bullpen tonight is a regular guest and sponsor of the show, the Smokin’ Guitar Player himself, Fred Bernardo of Tasty Licks BBQ. Fred is going to recap the Harry Soo cooking class he hosted last week and give us some ideas for the impending Father’s Day holiday.

The computer issues continue but we have a full show planned for tonight.  Joining me in the first interview segment is friend of the show and host of the Sam Livecast, Sam Zien.  We will talk about the change he made to his show, get some new recipes from him and possibly a little, dare I say, Kevin Roberts talk??

Around 9:35pm EST, Fred Bernardo of Tasty Licks BBQ joins me.  Tasty Licks recently hosted a 3-Eyz BBQ class for the backyard cook.  Fred will give us the recap on the class and also talk about some other hot topics.

Trying out some new equpiment…I got my dirty little mitts on a Pit Barrel Cooker.  While I haven’t cooked on it yet, I will give you an in-depth look at this cooker and what comes with it.  Thanks to Noah Glanville for the cooker!

Scott Nelson of Pigskin BBQ, Ryan Newstrom of Big T’z Q Cru and Joe Beland of Tippy Canoe BBQ Crew join me for a “King of the Smoker” Round Table.  As many of you know, this event will be taking place this coming weekend…big prize money up for grabs and a level playing field draw even more attention to this competition being put on by Big Poppa Smokers.

Helping me close the show is one of the best BBQ pit makers out there today.  George Shore of Pitmaker joins me to talk about his brand of cooker and how it is different from other cookers available for sale in the marketplace.
