Moving to the 2nd hour, I will be joined by the BBQ editor for Texas Monthly Magazine, Daniel Vaughn. We will take a look back at some big Texas food events of 2019, what he expects to see from Texas BBQ in 2020 and we will also talk about a few odd items that include a $75 baked potato and a "smoked" impossible burger. Could this be MY year for the BBQ Hall of Fame?? Daniel might have a take on that as well.
Coming out of the bullpen tonight is the CEO of the Kansas City Barbecue Society, Emily Detwiler. Plenty has been going on, and not all of it has been positive recently, so tonight we will try to put somethings to bed, take a peek at the first quarter of 2020 and get a recap of this past weekend's 2019 KCBS banquet.
