The Beats & Balls Show

Onwards to Arteta's Promised Land // Stormzy and Black History Month

The season promised a quadruple, yet the much-praised 'great' Liverpool side only won two domestic knockout cups. Can we consider this season to be a flop for Klopp's men?  On the music side, the Beats & Balls crew debate the merits of the very introspective new album from Kendrick Lemar new album, Mr Morale and The  Big Stepper. Is this a new direction for Hip hop?

It’s the Beats & Balls January transfer window special, with guest  Kojo from the 3inmidfield podcast.. Discussing the clubs who need the reinforcement and possibly transfer wish lists  in the January transfer window. The transfer policies of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and Newcastle get a review… Sparks will fly..

Arsenal's fortunes on the pitch over the last five years have seen the once 'Invincibles' slide into middle table mediocracy. Fans of everyone's favourite 'banter club' have become disillusioned with the club's trajectory.  Ballers, Jordan The Beat Maker and That Guy Kenn jumped on the Arsenal chat, whilst co-host and producer Mr Crisp, couldn't make it into the studio. So how do Jordan and That Guy Kenn view Arsenal's current plateau into consistent mediocracy? Full barrels given!

With the rumours of a big bag of money being offered to Anthony Joshua to step aside from the rematch with Alexandr Uysk , to let Tyson Fury fight Uysk for the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world. The Ballers discuss if stepping aside is a good career move for AJ.

The Ballers give their verdict of the tunes that are moving them in The Sound of Now.

Athletic Fragility - is okay for elite athletes not to be okay or should we expect more robustness from super human beings?

The boys are joined by Flex of the United Stand, one of the football fan media’s most popular channel, for a frank discussion on the merits and downside of football fans having the platforms to openly express their opinions on their teams fortunes. Fans of teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd will know how toxic these forum can get.  But with the popularity of fan media influencing the presentation of mainstream media coverage it looks like fan media is a permanent fixture. But how will it evolve? Flex offers some unique insights.

The boys express a quick assessment of the pop culture and sports related news and events that have caught their attention in The Socials. The  Baller of the Week  in-show competition closes the show.

Show producer Mr Crisp is on an unexpected Conor McGregor bandwagon. The much hyped UFC star has has captured Mr Crisp’s imagination. Mr Crisp had previously shown no real interest in UFC, but due to Conor McGregor he is now naming names and talking about fight records!! So we are dedicating this episode to ask what does it take to cross over from one sport to another? How easy is to play multiple sports at a professional level? What does it take to transcend your sport and attract and appeal to a whole new fan base.
