The Beats & Balls Show

The growing trend among professional footballers is take a penalty kick with more fanciful and elaborate ways to out wit the goalkeeper. The new trend could result in moments of glory for the taker and or as we have seen for Fulham’s Ademola Lookman memes of shame if you don’t pull off your trick.

But, we are as fans, the paying public, ask the question do we care how a penalty is taken? Is scoring from the penalty spot the right time to show swagger on the pitch?

In other topics we explore the declining role of the free kick specialist.

The seasonal Ballers Anthems returns and the Ballers team, each select tunes that sums up 2020 and gives them hope for 2021.

Taking inspiration from Maria Carey's long awaited road to having The Christmas Number 1 record in the US and UK chats, we ask the Ballers if they could have one long awaited sports related wish come true what would it be?
