About our Guests:
The Reverend Katie Knoll Lenon (she/her) is currently serving as Rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale AR. Mother Katie has been ordained for 8 years, from the Diocese of Kansas. Before accepting the call to the Priesthood, Mother Katie served the Episcopal Church in Youth Ministry, which she has 20 years experience when combining pre/post seminary education. She is delighted to participate in this episode or any thing associated with the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas- since it is responsible for much of her childhood formation. Mother Katie has a bachelor degree in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas- Rock Chalk! And a Masters of Divinity from The Theological School of the University of the South in Sewanee TN, YSR! When Katie is not at church, she is spending time with her family-(husband, daughter and German Shepherd), hopefully in nature- hiking, camping, or glamping more like. She practices yoga and loves dancing to music with a sick beat. Mother Katie enjoys a good laugh, through watching funny tv, movies or stand up comedians, but the best is when you are surprised by the quick wit of the person you are talking to.
