Joe Biden had one job: to keep Donald Trump from winning the Presidency ever, and he failed. Today, he stands side by side with the man he called oligarch to transfer power of the first world superpower over to a despot.

It is the beginning of the end of Trump’s reign; four years that the USA will either survive, its institutions hold, or will crumble and become something new, something barely recognizable.

Why? Because of 77 million of its people, or about 24%. Ignorant, fed up, racist, bigoted, homophobic, transphobic, they voted for a person and a party that will do them harm. And they did it and do it gleefully.

So, today marks the beginning of the end of Trump, and of America. How will we emerge?

We may not.
