With a professional objective “to make significant contributions in the care of others”, Robbie has used his background in accounting, operations, strategy and business development to build healthcare businesses that disrupt and offer greater value to markets. Robbie brings knowledge and passion to the Ampelis team. He finds fulfillment using his expertise to create better ways for people to cultivate meaning in their lives and businesses. He is deeply invested in the Ampelis methodology and uses it daily within his own life to develop self, nurture relationships with others, and connect with the divine. As the President of Ampelis, Robbie spends his days serving clients and working with the team to design and implement Ampelis services.

Robbie graduated with his degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and later completed both a Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Business Administration at the University of North Carolina. Before coming to Ampelis, Robbie served as a Regional Vice President at Surgical Care Affiliates (an Optum Company) responsible for strategy, operations and development in multiple markets across the United States.

As someone who loves to spend time outdoors – mountain biking, camping, skiing, horseback riding, and hiking – Robbie enjoys the experiential learning side of Ampelis. He can personally attest to the numerous benefits of being active in nature. When he isn’t working, Robbie and his wife, Jesika, spend time chasing their vision for life (and their five children) in and around their Utah home.

Kylee Shields is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the Life Skills & Executive Function Director at Telos U, a residential treatment program in Orem for young adults. Throughout her career she has worked closely with adolescents in the areas of trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiance, bereavement, processing disorders, process addictions, and more. She draws from her prior experience working at EFY, residential treatment settings, HEFY, a therapeutic boarding school, and wilderness therapy. Kylee is a published author, co-founder of a non-profit (INSPIRE: Music. Service.Hope), Music Director of the Utah chapter of INSPIRE Chorus, Advisory Board Member of Heare Brotherhood, and a world traveler. Kylee enjoys writing, playing her piano (Ella Mae), singing, spending time with friends, nieces and nephews, and being outdoors.

Kylee Shields and her best friend Alycesun Clare talk about the importance of having your person, the ups and downs of 2 decades of friendship, Alycesun’s journey in life, how being vulnerable with those you love invites deeper connection, and much more.

Alycesun Clare received her Bachelors degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Dance Education.  She competed her masters in Educational Leadership at University of Buckingham in London, England. 

Alycesun started ALA Arizona’s first dance program using space in the front parking lot of ALA’s initial strip mall high school in Queen Creek, Arizona.   Her incorporation of Ballroom and Leadership continued to grow into a thriving program and culture. Alycesun’s program hosted over 1200 Students a year, a Nationally Ranked Ballroom Team, 4 years consecutively and an excellent Dance Company.   

She currently works as the Director of Operations for a nonprofit named World of Difference based in Malawi, Africa. The organization works with Agriculture, Education and Health. From working with local villagers in Msundwe in food security to building long term sustainability with in country leadership, Alycesun loves the continent of Africa and finds her job an absolute dream job.

In this episode Kylee Shields talks with her friend Charan Prabhakar all about life, the importance of meditation, and he showcases his humor. Charan also talks about the  importance of having a personal relationship with Christ and how that has blessed his life.

Known for decimating entire populations with a suffocating amount of peace and joy, Charan Prabhakar lives and breathes acting like he does when living in the present.  Not necessarily living in the present as one might think, but living in an actual present that is wrapped up in a tight bow and handed to a loved one.  

Obviously, there would need to be holes poked in this box so he could breathe.  After a string of independent films in UT, Charan took his "living inside of a present" mentality to LA, where he stumbled, fell, and kept going, audition and after audition.  And it paid off.  After landing a great role on the Chosen, more TV and film credit followed.  

He’s now back in UT producing and acting in movies that speak to his soul.  Charan’s true passion is to help people come alive.  To find that inner joy within and to share that light with the world.  He uses acting as a way to experience a more abundant life and is very excited to teach others to do the same!

ABOUT OUR GUEST JOSEPH MOORE:

Joseph Moore grew up singing with his 9 siblings in his hometown of Littleton, Colorado. He received classical vocal training from BYU-Hawaii & more contemporary styles from Berklee College of Music. He lived in Nashville where he spent 3 years writing music and performing in local venues. Joseph has performed all over the world from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Seoul Arts Center in Korea and even on the Great Wall of China.

In 2012, Joseph moved to Salt Lake City, Utah & was a part of a few bands including a pop/jazz group called Hudson Lights through Shadow Mountain Records & a gospel group called Just PPL and had the opportunity to open for Imagine Dragons.

Joseph released his first full-length, solo album of original music, “The Deep End” in May 2021 and continues to record music and perform as a solo artist & as a member of the contemporary gospel group King Will Come.

In the fall of 2022, he decided to get a Masters of International Film Business from London Film School and University of Exeter and is currently in the process of developing a few different feature films.
