Michael Bidwill joined Bernie Miklasz to talk about the 2017 Arizona Cardinals, Michael's kind gesture to help Kurt Warner's family, Warner's second act in Arizona and the memories they have of him, and the multiple players St. Louis and Arizona share together.

The St. Louis Cardinals have struggles offensively and if you go up and down the roster, where is the upside? The Cardinals have overvalued a lot of their players and when you look at the future unless there is a big off-season addition, where does the offense come from?

Dick Vermeil joined Bernie Miklasz to talk about Kurt Warner, the injury to Trent Green, what made Kurt who he was, the toughness Kurt displayed, and some reminiscing about the Greatest Show on Turf era.

With Kurt Warner heading into the Hall of Fame, Bernie has spent most of the week sharing stories and thinking about Warner's legacy. He allowed his producer Travis Green to do the same along with some listener reaction.

The Cardinals fell to 6-8 vs. the Brewers on the season, they now sit 3 games back of Milwaukee in the standing, and in reality they have already leapfrogged the Cardinals as contenders. Bernie says "the bottom line: Cubs and Brewers are more viable and the Brewers will only get better. They are in good position. The transitioning Cardinals not only have to worry about the Cubs owning this division for years ... but they have a real battle on their hands to avoid being tank-rolled by the Brewers in 2018."

Bernie Miklasz kicked the show off with another loss with so much on the line. The Cardinals loss to Milwaukee sums up the season as they struggle on the road, in the NL Central, and offensively.

Another one of those days for the Cardinals as they scored just one run against Matt Garza and Milwaukee Brewers bullpen despite multiple opportunities. Bernie Miklasz details why it is NOT about Matheny, Brett Cecil, or anything else...it's about the offense and their continue struggles in close game situation.

With Kurt Warner heading into the HOF, Bernie tells a story about Michael Bidwill rescuing Kurt Warner's family from Chicago so they could join him for his HOF party. Bernie says "the Arizona Cardinals care more about Kurt than the LA Rams, and that's another reason why fans here should never let go of their love for Kurt and his family."

Yadier Molina is a leader on this Cardinals team, and Bernie tells why yesterday he once again proved why he is worthy of all the praise he gets. "On a day when Molina is getting pounded on the head by hard-foul caroms, a bat, and literally taking it on the chin on another foul tip, his (position player) teammates ought to be ashamed by this lethargic performance Thursday."

Paul DeJong had a rough day at the plate yesterday going 0 for 5 with 4 Ks however, the positive is he did not let his play seep over into the field as he made a couple really nifty plays defensively. Bernie Miklasz kicked off the show discussing the Cardinals win in Milwaukee, Luke Weaver and Yadier Molina dominate, and Trevor Rosenthal continues to put up sick numbers as he has become one of the best relievers in the game during the last month.

Bernie makes the point that "Luke Weaver is basically auditioning for a spot in the '18 rotation." And he says if you think about it, this is shaping up to be a pretty intense and interesting competition.

Kolten Wong has experienced a very nice bounce back year, and with his high OBP Bernie suggest that Mike Matheny could shake up the Cards lineup by utilizing the high on-base percentage guys at the top when Fowler comes back, thus making the lineup a lot longer and more offensive.
