The big club needs to add big man's scorching bat. give themselves a better chance of winning. Walker has successfully made changes, so take advantage of his newfound hitting wisdom.

Let's Face It: The Cardinals Aren't Good!

And now their bullpen is breaking down after propping this flawed team up in the first two-thirds of the season. The offense stinks, the starting pitching is below average overall, and the relievers are under immense pressure to keep this team from dissolving.

Big bulletin here: this team ain't good.

The St. Louis Cardinals are reeling. They're losing. Their deficit in the wild-card race is growing, and they've largely been unable to chase down first-place Milwaukee in the NL Central. Key areas of the team are in decline.

Is this just a slump, or is it the painful reality?

Over the next 30 games, the Cardinals can show us who they really are. Time is precious. They can't afford to lollygag around instead of seizing opportunities to go on another successful stretch of winning baseball.
