The people of Israel were delivered into the hand of Midian, which means strife, for 7 years. Whenever you allow strife to come in, that strife will begin to cause confusion. Strife will steal your harvest. Israel was greatly impoverished because of the strife. The children of Israel cried out to the Lord. God told them to not fear the gods of the Amerites", which stands for control. Saying, do not fear people who want to control you. In essence, the people of Israel had settled for a standard of life that was below what God had for them. 

The people had not obeyed God's voice not to fear. They were letting others control them in the land God had given them.  In Hebrews 11 is says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith always operates in the now, bringing what is in Heaven down on Earth.

God is raising up a new breed of leaders and people. Psalms 102:13 says, "You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come." 

The prodigal sons and daughters are coming home in this time. God is at work in the earth, and He wants us to be at work. Psalms 31:19 says, "Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!"

The enemy wants to take you out, but he doesn't know everything about you. The devil doesn't know everything about your call. God says, "I will hide you in my presence."
