The Sam Tambani Research Institute is a Public Benefit Non-profit Company which was registered in 2012. The idea of establishing the institute was perceived jointly by the NUM and MIT. It arose from the need to consolidate NUM efforts to ensure that workers get a fair share of what they produce which enables them in turn to their livelihoods.

eKasi Entrepreneurs is a non-profit company that develops platforms for township entrepreneurs to have access to resources, support, training, development and mentorship. The aim of this NPO is to build an ecosystem that structurally supports township entrepreneurs from the different corporates that they partner with.

Due to South African learners being at risk of adding to the population of the jobless who may have degrees, The Eskom Expo also aims to promote interest in the field of science and technology, with the ultimate goal in urging young people into these careers.

Miranda Ntshangase also shared exciting news about the Star Quality Management and Actor’s Academy's workshop classes which are going to take place from the 2nd of September 2017. The workshop classes will be open to the public, particularly for students that are interested in becoming actors and true thespians.
