Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss if Micah Parsons will be traded.

Micah Parsons and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones are currently locked in a high-profile standoff over Parsons’ contract extension and have been for months. In the latest chapter of this high-stakes saga, Jerry Jones accused Micah Parsons’ agent of rudely shutting down a contract proposal with the phrase “stick it up our a**.” David Mulugheta swiftly refuted that claim, calling it “false” and insisting he never uttered such language. He then reiterated that the focus should remain on Parsons as the player, not on him—signaling professionalism amid mounting tensions. Based on the latest comments from Micah Parsons agent to Jerry Jones, do you think Parsons now gets traded?

Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss the MEAC/SWAC Challenge this weekend and the upcoming SAS HBCU Invitational.

The SAS HBCU Invitational is a collegiate golf tournament designed to spotlight and support student-athletes from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Held during the PGA Tour Champions–sanctioned SAS Championship at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. In 2025, the competition will take place October 11–12, preceded by a special Career Day on October 10 hosted at the SAS corporate campus. This day features workshops on professional readiness, AI and data literacy, personal branding (including LinkedIn coaching and headshots), and networking with SAS executives and PGA Tour Champions players at a Champions Cookout.

The Cricket MEAC/SWAC Challenge Kick-Off marks the start of the HBCU football season. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, the event features a high-profile matchup between two Historically Black Colleges and Universities—one representing the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the other from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). This year’s game will be held tomorrow, Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, and will feature the North Carolina Central Eagles (MEAC) taking on the Southern University Jaguars (SWAC) in a primetime slot at 7:30 PM ET. Traditionally held during Week 0 of the college football season, the MEAC/SWAC Challenge has grown into one of the most-watched games on the calendar. The 2024 edition, which featured Florida A&M and Norfolk State, attracted a record 1.3M viewers. Who will win?

Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss ~~fiirebirds kmac, panthers, commanders

Last night in the NFL preseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Carolina Panthers 19–10 in Charlotte. The Panthers managed a touchdown on a Jack Plummer pass to James Mitchell and added a field goal earlier in the game. What do we think of the Panthers? How good will they be? Is the NFC South the worst division in football? Did Reese give up on Bryce Young?

In the second game, the New York Giants dominated the New England Patriots 42–10, capping off a perfect 3–0 preseason. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart looked sharp in the first half, completing 6 of 12 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown, while also scrambling for 23 yards. He briefly exited after taking a hit but was cleared and praised afterward by head coach Brian Daboll. Is Dart the real deal? Is Jaxson Dart the real deal? Should Dart start over Russell Wilson?

Reese, Pam and Alex speak with Wade Harris and Gabriella Cabral.

It is Firebirds Friday! Wade Harris is the CEO, Director of Player Development and the Managing Partner of the Raleigh Firebirds.

Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss if we are too quick to label a 1st round Quarterback a bust.

Are we too quick to label a 1st round Quarterback a bust?

Reese, Kmac, Pam and Alex discuss if more teams should be like the Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys are probably the most storied franchise in NFL History. While they had tons of success in past, in the past 20 years they have not been winning nearly as much as before. However, they are always in the headlines and make a whole lot of money. The Dallas Cowboys seemingly don’t need to win to win — Should other struggling NFL teams follow their playbook?
