Rumors spread online claiming that Drake had purchased a pair of underwear allegedly worn by Michael Jackson at a French memorabilia auction. Viral reports said the item sold for around $365,000, though some outlets reported a much lower figure closer to $36,000, which added to skepticism about the story. While the claim quickly became a major topic online and sparked jokes, memes, and debates about celebrity collecting culture, neither Drake nor any major auction house publicly confirmed the purchase. The rumor gained traction partly because Drake is already known for buying expensive music memorabilia and luxury collectibles. He has previously been linked to high-profile auction purchases connected to legendary artists, including items associated with Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson. Is this story real? Did Drake really do this?
