The Beta Report

Now that we got that Marvel stuff out of the way, there is still so much more that Comic Con unleashed on the nerd world. We got a better look at Patrick Stewart as Jean Luc Picard in the new Star Trek show Star Trek: Picard. Is Picard the best Star Trek Captain, EVER?!?! Listen to find out our take. We then fly sky high for a little Top Gun, the new terminator, and HBO’s new series, Watchmen. Could this possibly be Game of Thrones’ successor? Listen to find out.

So, if you’re a little Marvel-fatigued, then this is the episode for you!

To say that the MCU owned Comic Con is a bit of understatement…they DOMINATED COMIC CON! The MCU completely obliterated obliterated everyone this weekend with a massive reveal of some of their upcoming Phase 4 movie releases, their Disney+ TV show line-up, and a few shocking surprises that no one was expecting. We’ll take a look at all of the new releases they announced and try our best to figure out where the MCU is headed as they continue to reign supreme at the top of the entertainment heap. We’ve got all that and so much more, on this week’s episode of The Beta Report.

Do you remember the first time your parents heard you cuss or caught you flipping off your TV after raging over the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Sega Genesis game when you were five years old? I DO! Almost as awkward as Latino comedians, classic movie remakes, and crying in the theater as you watch the live action Lion King movie, which, coincidentally are all things we are talking about on today’s special “Mixed Bag of Amazingess” episode.

I won’t bore your with a long winded description for this one. The first 30 seconds of this episode says it all! We’re in for a wild-winding-ride on this episode. Disney, Spider-Man, Stranger Things Season 3…and yes, beautiful, beautiful music!
