Today we're getting deep on why we feel certain emotions and how we can better understand them to show up better as leaders when we deal with conflict!
Guest Tiffany Mast loves connecting with people and learning both about and from them. She also enjoys traveling around the world to immerse in different cultures to expand her understanding of people and life. She's originally from North Carolina and moved to the Maryland area about 5 years ago. Currently, Tiffany is a Senior Lean Six Sigma Facilitator at a community hospital under Johns Hopkins Medicine in Maryland so she's been incredibly busy in this season of life. She's passionate about the improvement work that she gets to do every day with individuals’ ranging from Environmental Service Cleaners all the way up to the President of her organization. In addition to being passionate about the improvement culture she gets to create, she is also passionate about emotional intelligence, especially in
leadership, as well as from a personal development perspective. Her goal is to blend her knowledge and experience with both to help create new lenses of awareness in people so that they get to create more choice in their lives each day.

Welcome to the very first episode of the Beyond Leadership Podcast!
If you've ever felt like you were overworked or over available or just not making time to maintain your own mental + emotional health, your lack of boundaries around your time + energy might be why. In a world where we're taught the power of NOW, let's dive right in by talking about healthy boundaries: 1) what are they -- and what are they not? 2) why are boundaries important? and 3) how do we set them?
Once you have a firm grasp on what you need to change in your own life + business (hint: the 5-8PM rule has worked wonders in my home!), share what you learned with your fellow busy leaders, trying to juggle all the things. If you share on social media, tag #beyondleadershippodcast and be sure to tag me -- I'm @saramaeski on instagram.
I'll be back next Thursday with more great info but if you're looking for a way to connect with like-minded and like-hearted leaders in between episodes, check out our Beyond Leadership Community on Facebook.
Until next time... LET'S GO!
