"My experience being a participant with the Big D event was fun. It felt like a conversation with the comedians. The host and the audience felt very supportive. It really felt like just a warm environment and just like we were somehow all in this together as an event. And I didn't take it too seriously, but I thought it was really fun."

"I think in hindsight I was trying to avoid the pain and regrowth that it kind of requires, I think post divorce. So I threw myself into this other marriage just clinging to this like visual of the Brady Bunch and just way too fast blending families. It was a very unhealthy relationship and I benched myself after that. And it's. It's been like almost three years, which is crazy. But at this age, time is whatever, a flat circle. What is it?
