December 20, 2022Jaguars-Cowboys Recap with Brad HarvinIn this episode, Brad Harvin and I look back at yesterday's 40-34 overtime win by the Jacksonville Jaguars over the Dallas Cowboys. In the game, second-year star Trevor Lawrence threw for over 300 yards - ending Jacksonville's 20-game losing streak to NFC teams. Including yesterday's game, Lawrence has thrown for 14 touchdowns and just one interception in his last six games. Zay Jones caught three of Lawrence's four TD passes in one of his best NFL best performances for fantasy and DFS owners. Despite the win, the Jags trailed for most of the game. What was the turning point in giving the Jaguars momentum in the second half? How much has Doug Pederson helped the Jaguars mature the team into potential playoff chasers? Is Pederson the coach to get the most out of Lawrence? We also look back at Rayshawn Jenkins' 18 tackles and game-ending pick-six. With the Jags one game behind the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South, Jacksonville faces a critical Thursday Night Football clash with the NY Jets. What are some keys to Jacksonville winning? Ultimately, can the Jags potentially make the playoffs?...more21minPlay
December 16, 20222022 World Cup Final with Charlie MullanIn this episode, Charlie Mullan and I preview Sunday's World Cup Final between Argentina and France in Lusail, Qatar. First, we look back at our favorite World Cup memories from past finals. Charlie remembers the ticker tape when Argentina hosted the 1978 World Cup and Diego Maradona carrying Argentina to World Cup glory in 1986. He also enjoyed seeing Brazil's Zico in his younger days. I remember Brazil's Ronaldo redemption brace against Germany in Yokahoma after a disastrous final against France in '98. At the 2018 World Cup, France beat Argentina in a goal-scoring fest 4-3 on route to winning the trophy in Moscow. With this final being full of stars, we look at Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Sunday's World Cup Final will likely end Messi's international career with Argentina. With a win, Messi can match Maradona by lifting the World Cup. Messi can also out an end whether he or Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player of this era. For the Frenchman, Mbappe can win two World Cups before turning 24 years old. He can also take the torch as the world's best football player from Messi and Ronaldo to the next generation. Besides Messi and Mbappe, which player/s will dictate and be the x-factor's in Sunday's final? Before giving out our picks, we try and test each other's World Cup knowledge with some trivia? Can Charlie beat The Big D? Finally, we both give our picks. Charlie likes Argentina to win its first World Cup since 1986. I believe France will replicate b...more33minPlay
December 08, 2022Week 14 Tiers with Megan ShoupIn this episode, Megan Shoup and I talk Week 14 NFL Tiers. With seven divisional battles on Sunday, do these games make it harder to make perfect Tiers lineups? Will scoring be lower with rivals facing each other? What is Megan's process to make her Tiers lineups every Sunday? Megan not only plays the normal Sunday slate, but she also plays Afternoon-only, Primetime, and holiday slates. Does stacking work like a normal classic slate? Could there be too much or not enough stacking? I explain how Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams have both blown slates, but Derek Carr is not winning Tiers contests. Has Megan taken down any tiers contests, and what are some near-wins in 2022? What are some things Megan would like to improve going forward? Onto week 14, the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions are in one of Sunday's best game environments for scoring. Does this mean Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra St. Brown will be chalky Tiers entries? What's the right amount of players to have in this game? Is it OK to fade Patrick Mahomes against the Denver Broncos with their history of Under's this season? To end this episode, Megan and I agree to a head-to-head Tiers contest between us? I won the first battle in Week 1? Can the Tiers girl take down The Big D, or will I rule this week?...more27minPlay

Who wins the Vacant UFC Light Heavyweight belt between Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachovicz? How does Paddy Pimblett handle Jared Gordon in his PPV debut? With just one title fight, what is our cash and GPP strategy for Saturday's UFC card? With this being the last UFC PPV of the year, what are our favorite fights we cannot wait to see in 2023?...more26minPlay

December 02, 2022World Cup Knockout Round Preview with Nick HennionIn today's episode, ChicagoTribune and BostonDotCom betting expert Nick Hennion and I preview the knockout round of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. First, we break down why known soccer powers Belgium, Germany, Denmark, and Uruguay all failed to advance out of the group stages in Qatar. We answer what went wrong and why four of football's biggest powers saw their World Cups end early. Then, we look at one of the biggest Round of 16 encounters with tomorrow's exciting clash between the USMNT against the Netherlands. I ask Nick whether the US can beat Holland to win its first knockout round game since a 2-0 win over Mexico in 2002. With every World Cup, there is at least one surprise nation making a deep run. Nick believes Japan will continue its surprise run against Croatia after beating Germany and Spain in Group E. I like Senegal, and this team would be even better if Bayern Munich star Sadio Mane could play against England. Speaking of England, we agree England manager Gareth Southgate faces the most pressure in leading the Three Lions. With so many superstars making the knockout round, we look at which stars face the most pressure. Nick believes Argentina captain Lionel Messi faces plenty of pressure to win in his final World Cup. I believe France's Kylian Mbappé needs to continue carrying his country with so many French players not playing in Qatar. He also needs to continue proving why he is one of the world's most exciting soccer players. Before giving our World Cup winners, Nick gives out his favorite bets for the knockout rounds. Finally, we both believe Brazil will end a 20-year drought and win its historic sixth World Cup in 16 days. Despite a 1-0 loss to Cameroon, Brazil's depth is greater than any other team left in the World Cup. Neymar's potential return gives Brazil its play-maker to energize the squad. ...more24minPlay
November 30, 2022Championship Saturday Preview with David MoultonIn today's episode, David Moulton and I discuss Championship Saturday in college football. This week will be the final chance for teams to make the College Football Playoff, which will be decided Sunday after the conference championships are finished. First, we discuss the SEC Championship Game between LSU and Georgia in Atlanta. Heading into this game, Georgia is 12-0 and looking like college football's best team for a second straight year. LSU is 9-3 off a loss in College Station. Does this year's Georgia team compare with last year's national championship squad? Do Jayden Daniels and LSU have a chance of making this game close, or is LSU not quite ready for the Bulldogs? Heading into Friday's Pac-12 Championship game between Utah and USC, we discuss how Lincoln Riley has turned the Trojans within one game of being California's first team in the CFP. Can Caleb Williams finish off his Heisman-worthy season with another fantastic performance against a well-coached Utes team, which beat USC in Salt Lake earlier this season in Salt Lake City. Onto Arlington, where Kansas State and TCU will meet for the Big-12 Championship. A win would make TCU the first Texas team in the CFP. David reminds me of when TCU was No. 3 heading into 2014's final game. Despite winning, TCU missed the CFP, while Ohio State jumped over TCU and Baylor before beating Bama and Oregon on route to winning the first CFP. For TCU and USC, a loss would create potential drama if Ohio State could vault them in the final CFP rankings. Then, we are off to discuss Purdue and Michigan in the Big Ten Championship. After dominating Ohio State in Columbus, the Wolverines find themselves one win from back-to-back CFP appearances. J.J. McCarhy outplayed potential No. 1 pick C.J. Stroud with 263 yards and three long touchdown passes in Michigan's 45-23 win. Can Michigan also compete against Georgia, which beat them in last year's Orange Bowl? Finally, we discuss whether Hugh Freeze, Matt Rhule, and Luke Fickell will have immediate success at Auburn, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. ...more27minPlay
November 28, 2022Week 12 Review with Alex BleuelIn this episode, Alex Bleuel and I look back at Week 12 of the NFL Season. We discuss, Alex's trip to see his Miami Dolphins beat the Houston Texans at Hard Rock Stadium, Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence's coming-out game in a win over the Baltimore Ravens, whether to not we would pay Ravens running back Josh Jacobs after 303 scrimmage yards against the Seattle Seahawks, and which players we like to see get more attention. Alex ends this episode with a rant into the 2022 struggles of Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, and Matthew Stafford. ...more35minPlay
November 22, 2022Are the 2022 Jacksonville Jaguars Bad or Unlucky with Brad Harvin? In this episode, Brad Harvin and I debate the Jacksonville Jaguars season, which returns after a Week 11 bye this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. Despite a 3-7 record, the Jaguars actually have a +11 points difference on their opponents. Jacksonville's only double-digit loss came in a 27-17 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs? Is Trevor Lawrence showing signs of improvements in his second year, and what's wrong with the other 2021 NFL Draft quarterbacks? Is Travis Etienne capable of being a No. 1 running back for the Jags? Is Christian Kirk worth his big contract the Jaguars are paying him? Switching to defense, will Jacksonville pressure the quarterback? Over the debate over which edge-rusher should have been the No. 1 pick, is Travon Walker a little disappointing compared to fellow No. 1 pick Aidan Hutchinson? This Sunday, the Ravens come into Duval County. Can the Jaguars shut down Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews with extra preparation time?...more27minPlay
