So as President Biden and Speaker McCarthy agreed to raise the debt Celing, I In a one man band episode decided to do an episode on the last time this happened with the 2011-13 crisis after the republicans took back the house and how Speaker Bohener tried to do a deal with President Obama on $800 billion of tax revenues for $2 trillion of cuts and how that deal initially undermined by Republicans then gutted by President Obama how the crisis extended in to 2012 and how post re-elect they tried again and failed due to revenues and how then Vice President Biden played a significant role and preventing the crash. In this Two Part Episode Me and James are going to focus on two things the NHS and Education, It was meant to be also talking about energy, tax reform and economic policy but we got to 9pm and James had to go so we got 1 hour and 10 minutes on these two topics.
