In the latest episode of the Big Red Cobcast, KLIN newsman Kellan Heavican talks about learning tough lessons in public, the response to the Big Ten and Covid-19 by University of Nebraska leadership, and when he thinks we'll see Husker football again. This week was peak Big Red Cobcast. The fellas welcomed one of their favorite Huskers of all time, Niles Paul, onto the Cobcast. They talked Husker highlights, Husker lowlights, Bo Pelini, Mike Riley, Scott Frost, injuries, the NFL, and how to roll the perfect blunt. And Niles took care of two blunts just while recording the Cobcast.

A week after discussing the national media perception with national outlets, we decided to bring on someone with a unique perspective -- Mitch Sherman. Mitch is a local guy working in national media. He's covered the Huskers since '93 when he was a college student at UNL. We talked about his evolution as a media member, the things he's seen covering the Huskers, and how he feels about the perception of Nebraska from his national colleagues.

This week, Pat and Joe talk about the perception of Nebraska in the national media with Sports Illustrated's Pat Forde (kind of, sort of) and USA Today's Dan Wolken (for real). Both have been frequent critics of Nebraska's response to the Big Ten cancelling fall sports, so the Cobcast fellas decided to bring them on for a chat. How excited were they to talk to the Cobcast? You can judge that for yourself. They were probably just disappointed that they didn't get to talk to Tweedy.
