The Big Red Podcast

This week we apologize for huge failure to deliver a True Blood commentary. But we try to make up for it by supplying over an hour of Big Red Podcast goodness talking about new and returning shows including: Community, The Beautiful Life, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Supernatural, Fringe, The Derek Report, Sons of Anarchy, Bones, Glee, and finales for Hung and True Blood.

Plus we make a little announcement. And Miles from ShowShow calls us three times!

We're back and so is fall television. Or at least a little bit of it. We start with Melrose Place, Vampire Diaries, Mad Men, Glee, Supernatural, Sons of Anarchy, Hung and True Blood. Plus we answer calls about Fringe and Dexter. And we'll attempt to record the commentary track for the True Blood finale later this week. Our apologies for being stupid.

Derek dumps us this week so we carry on to talk about Michael and Michael Have Issues, Warehouse 13, Being Human, Hung, Nurse Jackie, and True Blood. Next week we're on hiatus for Labor Day, but hope to release a special commentary track episode about True Blood to coincide with the season finale.

We're back! And we have a lot to say about our vampire friends. And our listeners - yes, two! - have things to say about vampires as well. We check in with Better Off Ted, Top Chef Masters, Being Human, Michael and Michael Have Issues, Hung, Nurse Jackie and True Blood. And we'll be back next week!

In the run up to our summer hiatus we take a look at the last new series of the summer (we think) called Defying Gravity. Then we spend some quality time considering Michael and Michael Have Issues, Being Human, Saving Grace, Burn Notice, Warehouse 13 and Eureka. Then we talk spoilers for premium cable fare including Nurse Jackie, Hung, and True Blood. We're off next week!

We spend some time unpacking the five hour mini-series event Children of Earth and talk about how Torchwood fits into a political thriller. Was it good? Was it bad? Mighty discussion ensues.

This week we take on the new series Michael and Michael have Issues on Comedy Central and settle in with regular summer shows like Warehouse 13, Better Off Ted, Leverage, Royal Pains, Burn Notice, and Eureka. Then we get into the very spoilery premium cable talk for Nurse Jackie, Hung, and a little True Blood. Plus we throw in some Harper's Island because... why not?
