The Big Red Podcast

I take a few minutes to remind TV critics that CBS already has a fair amount of gore and "near nudity" while offering up my predictions on who the killer is and how it will all end on Harper's Island.

We return triumphant to discuss two new series: Castle and Ashes to Ashes. Plus we break up with Chuck and Reaper - okay, maybe it's just me - and then unravel the comedy of How I Met Your Mother, The Office, 30 Rock and East Bound and Down before trying to make sense of Dollhouse, the Burn Notice finale and of course, LOST.

This week we face a veritable flurry of comments about Dollhouse and whether or not we should continue to watch. I maintain it is a crappy show that is not worth my valuable time. The boys kinda, sorta agree. Then we roll on to two new shows called East Bound and Down on HBO and Mistresses on BBCAmerica. We only like one. We praise Flight of the Conchords, puzzle over United States of Tara, complain about retreads on Chuck, and wonder at the mystery of shoes on LOST.

We rescue Derek from the icy clutches of his apartment and bring him in to record a delayed Derek Report, talk about Trust Me, answer a phone call, make fun of micro-expressions, why Fringe is bad, low rent commercials, cheese on Burn Notice, a mug on Flight of the Conchords, some Battlestar, and bloody noses on LOST.
