The Big Reviewski

BONUS FEATURE with Robert Rodriguez, Jon Landau, and the stars of Alita: Battle Angel by JOE

You've survived January!

Congratulations!

That means you've earned yourself a treat. So tell everyone else to feck off, lock the door, put the phone on silent, get yourself a cup of tea, a nice chocolate biscuit, sit back, put your feet up and get ready to rock out with The Big Reviewski.

Following on from last week's doggy downer (sorry about that, everyone), Eoghan Doherty, Justine Stafford and Rory Cashin reach maniacal levels of movie-loving as they wax lyrical about Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, put a long-standing Jennifer Connelly rumour to rest, and try not to be scared by Christoph Waltz and his swinging RocketHammerHammerRocket.

There's also some lethal LEGO loot to win and reviews of Alita: Battle Angel and The LEGO Movie 2 - will everything be just as awesome as it was before? You'll have to tune in to find out.

Plus, there's an important and intellectual discussion about Justine's incredibly impressive Rock collection.

Don't ask, just listen...

Greetings film fans!

Strap yourself in for the latest episode of The Big Reviewski.

Following on from last week's Clint Eastwood filth-fest, Eoghan Doherty, Justine Stafford and Rory Cashin try and keep their sh*t together as they mourn the loss of magnificent movie dogs, attempt to steal LEGO boxsets from studio without anyone noticing and give the obligatory weekly shout-out to John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum in honour of Paul Moore.

As well as dishing out cool prizes and reviews of Green Book and How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, the gang are also joined by the director of one of the best films of 2019 so far, Yorgos Lanthimos, as he talks The Favourite, ludicrously-talented leading ladies and the exciting prospect of working some of Ireland's greatest actors.

Plus, there's an important and intellectual discussion about why erotic, psychological, sci-fi space thrillers are Rory's jam.

Don't ask, just listen...

And don't forget Subscribe pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaasssseeeee!

The Big Reviewski II with James McAvoy by JOE

C'mere and give us a big hug, we've missed you.

The Big Reviewski is back! And it's bigger and better than ever before!

We can actually say we're bigger and better because both of those things are technically true.

Bigger because Eoghan Doherty, Rory Cashin and Paul Moore are delighted to be joined by a brand new gang member on the show... please give it up for Justine Stafford!

*Crowd goes wild, loses the run of themselves, all hell breaks loose*

And everything is better because we've teamed up with the film-loving folk at Omniplex Cinemas to bring you all the latest movie news, movie reviews, movie quizzes and movie prizes - basically anything with the word 'movies' in front of it - and it's all coming to you from a super sexy and slick new set.

2019 is kicking off with a cracking first show, with Stan & Ollie stars, John C. Reilly and Steve Coogan, popping by to doff their derby hats and say hello, while the original motherflippin' fothermucker of them all, Samuel L. Jackson, calls by to increase the cool levels by around 800 million % as he talks Glass and getting really, really sick in Limerick.

Plus, there's an important and intellectual discussion about why sales of peaches shot up last year (Timothée Chalomet may or may not have had something to do with it).

Don't ask, just listen...
