The Big Reviewski

It's back-to-school time with Hollywood heroes Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish! It is September, after all, so this anaology makes perfect sense.

This week, host Eoghan Doherty is nowhere to be seen as TBR gang stalwarts/veterans/old people, Rory Cashin and Paul Moore, are joined by everyone's favourite newcomer and the undisputed people's champion, Denise Curtin.

*Crowd loses the run of themselves*

Get ready to be schooled in the art of film fun, as Night School stars, Kevin Hart and Tiffany 'Mrs Rory Cashin' Haddish, call in to say hello, while the gang also brave the new super-dark Netflix thriller, Hold The Dark, and things get real sexy scary (it's a thing) with Gasper Noé's new film, Climax.

Plus, there's a healthy dose of Pierce Brosnan love, drunken nightclub business meetings and somebody really, really wants to "roast Jesus Christ."

Don't ask, just listen...

We are KNACKERED.

We've been blown up, blown down and just plain blown all about town all week.

Because of the windy weather, you see.

This week, host Eoghan Doherty is delighted to be joined by two of the most wonderfully windswept people in the film review world... it’s Rory Cashin and Paul Moore.

The gang have a magical and spooky show lined up for you this week as they're joined by a truly phenomenal foursome, with Cate Blanchett and Jack Black stopping by to talk about their new film A House With A Clock In Its Walls, while Domhnall Gleeson and Lenny Abrahamson want to scare the pants off you with their creepy ghost story, The Little Stranger.

Plus, there are awkward peelings, scary feelings and Cate Blanchett teaches us all the perfect way to get free pints.

AGGHHHHHH!

It's the ugly motherf*cker of a Predator-themed show from JOE and Her that ain’t got time to bleed.

This week, host Eoghan Doherty is delighted to be joined by two of the greatest goddamn sexual Tyrannosauruses in the film review world... it’s Rory Cashin and Paul Moore!

As well as a – surprise surprise – Predator-focused Big Question On The Big Reviewski, there's a full review of – surprise surprise again – The Predator, and the gang are joined by – and this was genuinely a surprise – the star of The Matrix, Lord Of The Rings and brand new Irish revenge thriller, Black '47, Hugo Weaving.

Plus, there are bad Arnie impressions, even worse Agent Smith impressions and a new landspeed record is set for the quickest ever potty-mouthed curse on The Big Reviewski.

BONUS FEATURE with Hugo Weaving, star of The Matrix, Lord Of The Rings & Black 47 by JOE

BONUS FEATURE with Stephen Rea & Lance Daly, star & director of new Irish revenge thriller Black 47 by JOE

Sweet Jesus and mother of Christ in heaven, it's time for the show that's truly a gift from God.

It’s in the Bible, so it must be true.

This week, Paul Moore has been BANISHED from the Garden Of Eden (AKA the podcast studio) because he ate all the fancy magic apples. Sad times.

In happy times though, host Eoghan Doherty is delighted to be joined by the Adam and Eve of the film review world... it’s Rory Cashin and Cara O’Doherty!

As well as a clergy-themed Big Question On The Big Reviewski, there's a terrifyingly screechy review of The Nun and the gang are joined by not one... not two... not three... but FOUR superstar guests. Barry Keoghan and Bart Layton pop by to talk American Animals, while Stephen Rea and Lance Daly also call in to say hello and chat about their brand new Famine-set revenge thriller, Black '47.

Plus, there are bad jokes about popcorn boxes, even worse jokes about fart noises and one really good joke about The Predator.

Don't ask, just listen...

Testify! We have witnessed something incredible.

Like Agent Smith, Gandalf or Dr Drake Ramoray in Days Of Our Live (in Friends), Rory Cashin has risen from the dead!

It’s a miracle!

As well as the Lazarus-like Rory, host Eoghan Doherty is joined by fellow believer, Paul Moore, as the three ready themselves for the arrival of the coolest man in the world – Idris Elba.

The Marvel-ous Luther star talks about his brand new film and directorial debut, Yardie, as the gang are also joined by the star of that film and possible future Blade/Bond, Aml Ameen.

Plus, there are reviews of Searching and Upgrade, win tickets to see Marky Mark's new film, Mile 22, as well as a visit from potty-mouthed puppet, Detective Phil Phillips from The Happytime Murders, who's on hand (and on a hand) to tell us why dabbing is much better than rubbing.

Don't ask, just listen...

Dear friends, this week we're sadly a man down as our dear friend, Rory Cashin, has passed on…

... passed on the opportunity to join us for this episode, that is, to do something else instead which, in his words, is “much better and way more exciting."

Fair enough.

Even though Eoghan Doherty and Paul Moore are a man down, however, they're delighted to be a woman up as they're joined by Kilkenny's most famous Indiana Jones impersonator, Cara O’Doherty!

Following on from the appearance of living legend Denzel Washington on last week's show, the gang are privileged to be in the company of that man's son and all-round star in his own right, John David Washington, to discuss his fantastic new FIVE STAR film, BlacKkKlansman.

Plus tickets to see one of 2018's scariest films can be won, there are Haiclues to make your life miserable and Paul finds himself obsessed with an Irishman with a GIANT pair of hands.

Having succumbed to the joyous magic of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, we've has set up our very own ABBA tribute act called… wait for it... here it comes...

The Bjorn Supremacy Because The Bjorn Identity Was Taken.

Catchy, we know.

Host/Band Manager Eoghan Doherty is delighted to announce that the stars of The Bjorn Supremacy Because The Bjorn Identity Was Taken have been practising all week and are now ready to blow you away in their first ever live performance. Please welcome to the (imaginary) stage... it’s Bjorn Cashin and Bjorn Moore!

They're not the only attraction though, as there's also the small matter of one of the world's greatest ever actors calling in to say hello. It is, of course, the legendary and iconic film hero, Denzel Washington.

But wait! There's more! Not content with only having the star of The Equalizer 2 on this week's show, the gang are also joined by Mr Washington's pal and long-time collaborator, Mr Antoine Fuqua.

Plus there's a chance to see Idris Elba up close and personal, head-exploding Haiclues and this week's Box Office has a contender for the funniest (and slightly rude) film title of 2018.
