Thursday's First Hour: Starting the show, we hear one more time from Kiley Allan at the Iowa FFA Leadership Conference earlier this week joined by District Officer Caleb Zuercher who tells us about Courtesy Corps and his experiences at MFL MarMac FFA. ISU Veterinary Diagnostic Lab Director Roger Main joins us with an update on their facility after this month's ribbon cutting ceremony for Phase 1 and the groundbreaking for Phase 2. Midwest Market Soulutions' Brian Hoops tells us what is bringing down soybeans today and has an update on South America's crop harvest. "Trailer Mike" Finarty is with us at the end of the hour discussing the importance of the mobile education trailer and the ability to take the message of corn growers directly to people around the state.

Bob is joined to start this hour by Duck Unlimited CEO Adam Putnam talks about their partnership with IDALS in helping keep Iowa's waterways clean and healthy for waterfowl. Speaking of IDALS, Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig elaborates further on the DU partnership, talks about cover crops, and gives his praise for Heath Stolee and the wetland on his farm. IAWA Executive Director Sean McMahon discusses the future of clean water on Iowa's farmland and brings in some stats on the success of wetlands in the clean water process. We also celebrate Wyffels Wednesday at the end of today's show with Wyffels Hybrids Agronomy Manager Eric Wilson diving into when isthe right time to start planting in Iowa!

Heath Stolee talks about the success he is having with the wetland on his farm in taking out nitrates and discusses the cover crops he's using. Iowa Corn Growers Association CEO Craig Floss gives a look at the message they are conveying to farmers and programs they are working on promoting cover crops. Iowa Pork Producers Association Pat McGonegle chats with us at the end of the hour about the establishment of the Iowa Ag Water Aliance and the ways pork producers contribute to the quality of water across Iowa.

We head back to the FFA Leadership Conference in Ames with Bob Quinn as he sits down with Brian Waddingham from the Coalition to Support Iowa's Farmers talking about their booth. Lydia Johnson learns about the poultry judging competition from two competitors from the Cricket Creek FFA chapter. Jamey Kohake wraps up the day with an update on the ag commodity markets.

Monday's First Hour: Bob is in Ames today on the campus of Iowa State University for the 96th Annual Iowa FFA Leadership Conference! Reports from him, Lydia Johnson, and Kiley Allan are sponsored by the Iowa Soybean Association! They talk with some of the young people involved in the event including members of the Des Moines FFA chapter, a competitor in the talent competition, and a finalist for the Rising Star award. He also visits with Joe Heinrich who was helping with registration this morning! Jamey Kohake from Paragon Investments gives us a walkthrough of the markets today and a guess at what today's planting progress report will show. We also catch up with Tim Meyer from the Steffes Group and take a look at their spring calendar.

Friday's Second Hour: We continue from the Big Show Garage chatting with Scott Sloan and Shanw Chubb from Garage sponsor Titan Tire! They tell us about today's project getting Bob's Gator fired up and discuss the latest they are involved in at Titan Tire, including a visit to north Dakota and the launch of the FFA Tractor Restoration program for 2024.
