We begin the show with a special report from David Geiger looking at the falling crop estimates for South America. North Central Iowa Field Agronomist from Iowa State University Extension, Gentry Sorenson, talks about this morning's rainfall in the area and the field work that farmers are starting up. Brian Hoops from Midwest Market Solutions tells us about today's market trade as corn comes off of the highs for the day. But he reminds us of the rally corn has been on the past two weeks. Farm Rescue Development Officer Terry Johnston talks about their organization, how they help farmers in need, and how the Iowa Corn Promotion Board helps them accomplish that mission.

Wednesday's Second Hour: Iowa Soybean Association's Evan Brehm joins us for some extended time today talking about clean water practices he's seeing producers implement on the farm. Don Roose closes the show today with an update on markets.

Wednesday's First Hour: Charlie Hurburgh has some information for us today on keeping grain in storage in good condition. Don Roose from U.S. Commodities walks us through markets today with grains a bit weaker. And we're talking about the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th and an interesting impact in agriculture.

Tuesday's Second Hour: Doug Burns from Fam Credit Services of America joins us with a reminder of the deadline to sign up for crop insurance by this coming Friday. David Geiger is joined by two new council youth members of the World Food Prize Foundation and talks about the impact they want to make with their involvement. Garrett Toay from AgTraderTalk ends the show today with an update on markets.

Tuesday's Second Hour: We head out to the field to start the program with corn grower Steve Kuiper ins Southeastern Iowa to talk moisture levels and check in on fieldwork activity in that section of the state. Tapping into another pair of eyes out in the field, Brandon Hulme from Champion Seed says he's already being asked if it's time to plant (his answer is NO!) and gives us an update on what's new from Champion heading into the 2024 planting season. AgTraderTalk's Garrett Toay brings us up to speed on markets and the information coming from South America that's bringing soybeans up double digits.

In today's spotlight on Iowa, Bob is talking with Southwest Valley FFA Advisor Blake Anderson about a $1,000,000 gift from Iowa Farm Bureau to FFA Foundation's All In For Ag campaign and the importance of FFA providing opportunities for students.
