Bob Quinn did recap of the Nutriprobe 'reveal' with Van Wall, he also spoke with Walnut Creek Auction Owner Dave Aeschliman about the creation of a first-of-its-kind course on auctioneering at DMACC, the types of students they attracts, and what the students learn in the six-week curriculum. Brian Hoops from Midwest Market Solutions dissects some reports released in the past few days resulting the strength we saw in grain markets earlier this week and when he thinks we could hit the new crop corn estimate of $6.70.

Angie Rieck-Hinz from Iowa State Extension fills us in on what they have been talking with growers about in the off-season meetings including treatments for tar spot, soybean cyst nematode, and gall midges. President of the Iowa Corn Growers Association talks about the new representation on the House Ag Committee and what it's like getting a new Farm Bill through in a Congress that has a lot of members that have never worked on one. Jamey Kohake from Paragon Investments wraps up the program with a look at the markets and says it's been difficult to get much above $14 for November soybeans in his target prices.
