What was your favorite childhood game to play? Hide and Seeker by Daka Hermon is a dark, yet great twist to one of my favorite games growing up. The whole ambiance of this book held my interest from beginning to end. So if you're looking for a good October read...I highly recommend this one! With deep conversations, lots of sex, and feelings getting hurt, this is a great contemporary romance read. Alex Michaelides' second book, The Maidens, is a thriller with twists and turns you may not expect. We follow Marianna, a recent widow, as she not only works through her personal issues, but also takes it upon herself to play detective and solve the mystery of who is the University Murderer.
