Eva Sita Music on the episode: Jaraby and Ripped Soul
This episode right here, it's a heart healer. That's right, I said it.
I had the absolute pleasure and opportunity to chat with Dani Murcia. She is a singer and songwriter who relocated to Boston, MA from Miami, Fl and attends Berklee College of Music.
I had the opportunity to see Dani perform and she is a ray of light and I truly love her music. She just released her latest EP, Breaking Light, check her out!
This conversation was better than therapy, we got to dive deep into the topic of grief, courage, and depression. Dani lost her father to alcoholism and suicide and it is part of her mission to help and inspire other's who are going through a similar situation.
Also, we had a poor connection due to bad internet - but it's real life! We dropped the call twice and that stayed in the recording. I also decided not to edit the raw call all that much. I don't have the opportunity to speak with guests in person, the recordings happen over the phone. For me, keeping the call as raw as possible is all part of authenticity.
