Today's guest is Blake Farber, he is a director, musician and filmmaker. He has worked with brands like Olympics, Nike, Ray-Ban and many others. Blake has also directed for Dropkick Murphy's, Beyoncé and many other across the globe. Blake has won Vevo's Video of the Year Award in 2014.  
I loved every second of this conversation and it was amazing to put a name, a face and personality behind some of the projects of his I am familiar with. Blake is so humble, down to Earth and he lit my fire.

She also discusses how she is the worst employee ever. NOT at her day job but working for herself. It is so easy to give up on yourself or not give yourself the same respect as you would to someone else. She likes to think of another quote when she is down on herself about entrepreneurship.

Welcome back to season 2 of our podcast! We have had a long break but we are back in the swing of things.  To be honest this podcast is airing two weeks later than originally planned! But - here we are! 

This episode I had the opportunity to sit down with Spencer, a rising musician and hip hop artist out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Surprisingly music wasn't our main point of focus, but we talked about activism, being labeled as millennials, our responsibility to better our world, working our brave muscles, fears, doubts and so much more.

My favorite part of this podcast was learning that Spencer had to actively teach himself to rap his vocals on the beat and he states he wasn't that good at it in the beginning. I thought that it was fascinating. It is all too common to not acknowledge the work, practice and study it takes to pursue our art no matter the form.
