The Bitter End

Episode Nine! Now that Todd and Tom have arrived at the bitter end of the Highlander franchise, it's time to take a long, hard look at this sick little puppy... as well as announce the subject of season three!

Episode Eight! Back here, again? Tom and Todd return to the hot mess of Highlander II to watch this unique re-edit... without any references to the mighty Planet Zeist! Could this film possibly get any weirder on a second watch?

Episode Seven! For the last "official" entry in the Highlander franchise, the cockney accents are laid on thick, and the CGI is practically held together with string. Surely not even the addition of cannibals can save this movie from itself? Can it??

Episode Six! This Japanese Anime entry to the franchise takes Tom & Todd down some winding paths, as they attempt to unpick what the legend of the immortals means for the notion of death, justice, the future, and cartoon nipples.

Episode Five, featuring guest, Mark from The Curator Podcast! Todd & Tom had to call in backup to help them get through Highlander: Endgame. It is the last in the franchise to feature Christopher Lambert, after all.... Prepare to cry.

Episode Four! This movie has more titles than Christopher Lambert has facial expressions... (it has four). Also known as The Final Conflict, The Final Dimension, and The Magician, it's a heady brew of sword-fights, plot holes, and the coolest villain so far!

Episode Three! Tom & Todd make their first voyage to animation land, for this hastily thrown-together feature length cartoon. Along the way they'll discover machine-gun worshipping clansmen, six-legged abominations, and a girl named Clyde. This movie's definitely for kids, right?

Episode Two! Already this franchise is coming off the rails in some strange and surprising ways. How do you bring Sean Connery's character back from the dead? And what the heck is Planet Zeist anyway?? Todd and Tom want answers.

Season Two, Episode One! Tom and Todd begin a brand new adventure as a battle that begins in Scotland will end on the streets of New York 500 years later... but will any of it make any sense? (No).

Episode Thirteen! Having experienced Friday The 13th from start to finish, Tom & Todd attempt to get some perspective and view this mysterious beast warts and all.... as well as unveiling the theme for The Bitter End season two!
