The Black Tower Podcast: A Wheel of Time Podcast

In a world with its own mythologies, it's easy for us to just focus on the lore and origins of The Wheel of Time. However, Robert Jordan pulled plenty of inspiration and influence from our own world. So the guys thought it would be fun to take a brief look at a few different cultures, legends, and myths that may have influenced our favorite series.

New intro music! What do you think?

The #TwitterOfTime Wheel of Time character accounts are some of the biggest joys many of us get. From the funny to the hilarious, to the downright wholesome, the character antics on Twitter make us laugh and feel good every day. We were lucky enough to sit down with the person behind the Child Byar character account and chat about their experience. Good ole Byar did not disappoint.

It's live from JordanCon! Okay, well not live, but was recorded in person at JordanCon 2021. Vance, Matt, Andrew, and Josh sit down at the legendary Bar and have a nice chat over some tasty beverages. The group gets session bombed by a few really cool guests, who you will get to hear from. It was a great time, and now we bring it to you. No intro or outro music. No plugs (well, a little of ours' and The Gleemen's). Just fun.

Freshly back home after our first ever JordanCon, the Black Tower Podcast sits down to spill the beans on what we did, some of our favorite moments, as well as some suggestions we have from our first time! There is more coming from JordanCon, some may be out already, some may still be coming out. Either way, we loved it so much we could not wait to talk about it with you all!

It's theory time! Well, minor theories at least. Sit down with you favorite Boys in Black as each of us pick two characters that survived the Last Battle, and discuss what they are doing in the next age, the 4th Age. It's an episode that goes beyond the scope of the actual books of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time. So take a listen, and tell us if you think we are right or wrong! Then pick a character or two of your own and tell us what they're doing in the 4th Age!

The madness part of madness can be quite maddening especially when there is a potentially mad number of madness variants. Basically, there are a few sorts of madness that we see in Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series. As your Asha'guides, we are here for all of them!

For today's topic, we have a fantastic guest. YouTuber, fan, and published author, Lord Captain Commander Dunn! Today we discuss the characters we do not like for purely personal reasons.

Andrew's taking a little break, so Daniel and Josh decide to talk about one of the harder aspects of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time Series. Of course, that is putting the books down when you just need to.
