The Blacksmith's Furnace

The Rock and the Rockstar in the flesh this week. Mo couldn’t make it to recording this week, and with Bobby now living close to Pete we have the first in the flesh recording in quite some time.

We kick things off with a one for one offering for Sorry Not Sorry. booby asked a threefold question about if it’s possible to sell one’s soul, what that might look like and if there’s any route back from such a transaction?

Pete asks about what Bobby thinks about how some churches can fairly aggressively raise funds during a service for the church.

We then go on to talk about Will and Jada and her seemingly unrelenting dedication to dragging Will Smith’s image through the mud! From there we then go on to discuss the dynamics of respect in a relationship, more specifically what respect means to us as married men and how we would deal with not getting it.

For our hookups Rob suggested checking out a podcast called How married are you? and Pete suggested checking out a podcast he’s been listening to recently called Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me!

He talks about why Jesus performed His first miracle when by His own admission, His time had not come and then talked about how he would approach someone who felt everything wrong in their life is an attack from the enemy.

There was also a bonus question of how one might determine if they’re just sinning or still struggling with it.

We have a full house today and in celebration of that instead of Sorry Not Sorry we play a quiz where we determine if a quote provided by Bobby is from the message translation of Lamentations or a Taylor Swift lyric. Trust it’s harder than it seems

We go on to talk about the tragic death of 15 year old Elianne Andam in south london and what we think mihg tbe reasons for such evil and what potential solutions could be.
