A whole week late but if I dare say so myself, definitely worth it!

This week the Furnace was overflowing with some Amazing guests that joined us for what was a very very important conversation.

Big shout out to David (@xpenses87), Ayo (@ay360) and Ade([email protected]) for joining for possibly our longest episode to date and for bringing such diverse adn yet crucial perspectives to the conversation.

You’re probably wondering what on earth did we discuss, well this week was all abotu sex, and more specifically why we as married men *do not* talk about it enough.

It got uncomfortable, but in just the kind of way that’s actually beneficial.

It was a long one so enough preamble, take your time and be prepared to come back to this one a few times as there’s a lot to think about.

We swiftly move on to the main topic of this week's podcast which was breaking down a sermon that Pete gave at his church that Mo heard and had some significant issues with?!

Mo jumped right back in the deep end, taking his turn in Sorry not Sorry. Pete wanted to know if angels had free will and Rob asked if new Christians can be tormented by demons.

We move on to talk about how one places value on themselves and their work, this following a story that's making waves in teh gaming community where a voice actress for a popular game called for it's boycott due to not being offered enough to play the voice in the latest edition. Plot twist she may have misrepresented the deal but it still led to a good conversation about defining our worth as people and as professionals in whatever field we work.

The rock and the rockstar in attendance as Man lyk Mo was still in holiday mode!

We kick things off going one for one during Sorry Not Sorry, Rob asked if there needed to be an equal number of each office present for the five fold structure of church leadership to work, and Peter wanted to know which gifts Robert has that serve the church.

We then went on to talk about Britain's shortest reigning Prime Minister Liz Truss and leadership in general, this obviously leads to a bit of a breakdown of Pete as a leader and why Rob thinks he doesn't present as one!

For our hookups Peter suggested checking out a Netflix animation called Exception that touches on some interesting concepts, check it out here https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/81002444, and Rob suggested checking out fivexmore an organisation dedicated to and successfully reducing the alarmind rate at which black mothers can suffer fatalities during childbirth, currently at four time more than other races but as the name suggests was once five times more. Behold the Heavy Hitters are afoot once more this week on the furnace! Welcome.

Pete kicks sorry not sorry off asking Mo if Pastors should have private jets, you might be surprised by the response, and Mo asks Peter to explain his understanding of the gifts of Christ given to the church in Ephsians 4.

We go on to discuss uncle Kirk Franklin's recent debacle given he's facing a lot of backlash for a bar he dropped in a recent freestyle. We attempt to address the question of whether or not he blasphemed or referenced the demon baphomet. Following that we talked about the multiple personalities of Pastor Mase(aka Mase) following his recent videos, and lastly we touch on transgender worship leaders competing in a show that's looking to crown the best worshipper! It got weird this go round!

We went blow for blow in Sorry not Sorry; Mo asked if christians can idolise wisdom? and Pete wanted to know if it's accurate to say Christ was tempted with his own "lusts".

We then go on to talk about leadership off the back of the mini budget announcement fallout and the way it seems the Prime Minister has thrown Kwasi Kwarteng right under the bus!
