The Blacksmith's Furnace

The Rock and the Rockstar representing this week, welcome all to the Furnace.

Rob kicks things off in a one for one sorry not sorry. He wanted to know if Christians should be checking in on one another’s sex lives as often as they do other aspects of their lives, Of course Rob would like to do this!

Pete asked if Rob would remain monogamous if he was the only man left on earth and had the burden of repopulating mankind or at least ensuring it’s continued existence

We then go on to talk about Penguin books wanting to rewrite books of old to remove concepts and words that might be less acceptable now. Revisionist history en masse.

For our hookups Pete suggested everyone gets educated on AI and what it’s actually capable of in this new wave of AI tools going mainstream and Rob suggested checking out a movie called the Secret

We’re just ordinary people who’ve encountered an extraordinary God (the one true God!). From time to time, we have some really cool conversations. So we decided to switch on some mics and make a podcast out of it! Unashamedly Christian, unapologetically unscripted (most times!). And we’re intentional about making Christian concepts both practical and visible in the life of the disciple. Our podcast isn’t intended to be a teaching platform. Instead, it’s a public dialogue designed to cause us (the hosts) and you (the listener) to be provoked with godly thoughts and inspired to walk closer with God. And also, to gain a practical perspective of the Christian faith lived out!

Thanks for taking the time to check out this episode! We love to hear your voice in our convos, so do drop a comment to share your thoughts. If it helped you, then please share it with others too 😊

Welcome all to another episode of the Blacksmith’s Furnace, we hope you’ve had a good couple of weeks! Sincere apologies for not posting last week, Peter was very ill and thus we couldn’t get it going but we’re all back now and reporting for duty.

Rob took his turn in the hot seat this week and as expected decided to disobey his own rules and ask Pete and Mo how they would deal with someone who has multiple wives when he gets saved.

Of course he still had to answer some questions for Sorry not Sorry and we ended up talking about what he considers the basic fundamentals of Christianity upon which true Christians can’t disagree, and how he would counsel someone who believed in God and “the universe”.

Yeah that’s just how we do round here!
