Life moves fast. And sometimes we don’t stop long enough to smell the roses and enjoy, especially when we’re driven to accomplish our dreams or do what God has called us to. For some, we are barely hanging on and feel constantly under stress, anxiety and a rush. And there are others who wish they had something to do that they could actually have some healthy stress from. But regardless of our situation, all of us experience a level of fatigue and exhaustion. It’s why some of us refuse to get involved in church, build a career, or do something meaningful … because we’re afraid of or don’t know how to handle FATIGUE. Today, I want to share God’s order and desire for us regarding rest and relaxation. What does God long for us and how should we approach the intensity of life? In other words, how do we overcome the inevitable fatigue that’s waiting for us when we start to do something worthwhile?
