Everybody knew Rick Kucera, trading badge RKT! Rick was fortunate to have formed great relationships with the best of the best on the trading floor. Mentored by Dick Handelsmann and Richard Carrigan, clearly the most successful traders and brilliant minds of the early 1970's. Rick had a successful career in the equity and index trading pits. He is "semi-retired" living in Tennessee, and sits on many Boards. While he envisioned a career playing basketball with the NBA, he has dedicated most of his life building connections and being a serial entrepreneur.  

Today we chat with Dan William a retired FBI Special Agent. Dan worked for 23 years with the FBI in forensic accounting and counter terrorism.. Dan continues to work in the private sector spending time in the dark web and chat rooms of cyber hackers. Dan works with business owners on a daily basis who've been the victim of a targeted cyber-attack. These companies are "frozen" after the attack as the network and data files have been encrypted and held hostage. Hackers request Bitcoin as the preferred method of payment for releasing an encryption key to unlock the files. Don't think for a moment only a few rogue hackers around the globe are holding computer data files hostage. Cyber-attacks is a big, lucrative business occasionally sponsored by a Nation State. Ransomware as a Service (RaaS) is actually a thing! Dan offers several tips on how to avoid being the victim of a cyber attack.

Mark Oakley shares his story of growing up in a small farming community in downstate Illinois, population 1,100, to becoming a successful broker at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He started in 1973, the opening day of trade and might just be the youngest member we've interviewed.

High earners only have few choices when saving for retirement 

1. Individual Retirement Account which currently has a 2022 max contribution of $6,000. (1)

It's a little complicated but #1 & #2 are classified as Defined Contribution plans because YOU contribute to your plan. #3 is a Pension plan, which means the company contributes adequate funds to an account in order to pay you a pension of $245,000 per year. #4 is an account with reimburses you for medical expenses in post-retirement.
