If you’re lukewarm, just force yourself into the lifestyle of being on fire. Do it right now. Write a list of crazy things to incorporate into your lifestyle for Jesus, cut out everything that isn’t of Him, and life a life of radical obedience to Heaven.

“Giving it up to God” is basically just “giving up”, if not done correctly. “Surrendering it to God” is often just “surrendering” if we don’t know what it really means. Why be a loser when you can just be a winner?

If our theology looks different to the life of Christ, we’ve stepped out of truth. He is the visible image of the invisible God - and as He is, so are we. We preach sinfulness instead of saintliness; we preach God’s “maybe” instead of “it is finished”. But that’s not how it is in Heaven.

Not every thought is from yourself, but every thought can be taken into capacity - into the obedience of Christ. We wouldn’t be told to fix our thoughts on what is true if we couldn’t actually fix our thoughts.

We have been given all authority and power to use in Jesus’ name. Yet we still often come out as the underdog. There’s only one reason why: we gave up. Here’s a story and some sweet as discussions as to how we ought to go about living in aggressive militancy in the Gospel.

If we didn’t cast the demons out before they got saved, then why would they have left? Demons aren’t air fresheners that lose their scent after 2 weeks. They’ll linger for as long as they’re left to stay. No amount of time in God will drive them out. Demons aren’t cast out by praying for thousands of hours or by reading the Bible 50 times through. They’re CAST OUT by the authority of Jesus’ name. The longer someone has been in God, the more we need to ask them if they need deliverance... Because most likely nobody has. Unless they got saved in a revival, anyway...

So does love and such, but what does 60+ years of diligently giving yourself to your calling look like? I wouldn’t know, I’m not that old. But I can speculate.
