After much trial, trouble, and travail, the Bluegrass Buddies are back! We fought Covid, seasonal depression, technical issues, and each other, but we made it through all of that because we were so dedicated to bringing out this episode out for all our loyal listeners.
This one's a hoss. We start with yet another bluegrass love story, check in with Sonny Osborne to see what he is pontificating about these days, and play a European band name game. Then, Joe interviews bluegrass guitar legend and consumer of GooGoo Clusters Tony Rice about his new towel line, before sharing a old roast of Larry Sparks with us. We have the ETSU News, where we check in with Jed Greene's buddy Dustin Pollen, and the Gig Report, where Joe shares some of his frustrations with Michael's booking decisions. Plus there's an all new segment where we share the Bluegrass Word of the Episode (BWE).
At the end, we review new music by High Fidelity, and Michael recommends that listeners check out some Bill Harrell.
