I’m SO passionate about helping business owners like you create more wealth (aka profit) for themselves and others.
That’s one of the main reasons I became Profit First certified and have been sharing a lot about it on the podcast recently.
I think it’s a critically important topic because 83% of small businesses operate check to check. This causes stress and chaos for you, your family, and those around you.
But we can stop this. The hard truth is that generating healthy and sustainable profit isn’t hard. It’s a habit.
So today on the podcast I wanted to remind you of the magic of the Profit First formula and its 5 key concepts you will want to master to grow this habit.

Special guest on the podcast this week…
I had the opportunity to sit down with the author of Profit First, Mike Michalowicz.
You may know that I’m certified in Profit First and am trying to spread this method to as many small business owners as possible, so it was a real positive experience to bring this episode to life for you.
If you are someone who is interested in financial or personal freedom, this is a conversation I don’t want you to miss.
We talk about the changing small business landscape, profitable mindsets, and of course some info about the book and method.

You may remember Heather Chauvin, a previous guest on the show who spoke to us about connecting with what we want. Well, now she’s back with even more potent topics for us.
If you are someone who struggles to control your time, energy, money, relationships, emotions - this is a must listen.
Heather and I get really deep into these topics and Heather, who recently survived her battle with cancer and completed her book “Dying To Be A Good Mother”, gives us gold around how we can take responsibility for our actions, thoughts, and behaviors.
She dives into how we can listen to the symptoms of life all around us, guiding us to what we need. We also break down how it is we got here in the first place, listening to others instead of our intuition, and what we can do to break that.
This really is a packed episode and I’m so thankful to Heather for sharing her insights with us, I know you will be too.

If you’re someone who is in a complicated relationship with social media, then today’s episode is for you.
Many women feel like the answer to their revenue dreams lies in a single app because marketers have convinced you it’s a never-ending jackpot of clients.
Let me tell you something, that is a big lie.
In this episode, Eli Trier and I discuss how we’re stepping away from social media (for our mental health!) and thinking more critically about how we grow our businesses.
When women join The Bold Profit Academy they usually have some pretty big visibility fears and feel so out of alignment with the latest social media tricks.
If this sounds like you, please know there are so many exciting and enjoyable ways to be visible and use social media to grow your business.

I’ve joined forces with the incredible Jacquette Timmons, one of my dear friends, to have an open conversation about money on the podcast.
I think it’s really powerful to be in the energy of two women who have expertise with money and to call out the BS that’s happening, especially in the online space, when it comes to glamorizing money and 6 or 7-figure businesses.
I love speaking with Jacquette because we are able to go deep, the levels of our conversations are just something I appreciate and think you will too.
This is an episode for those of you who know you have some limiting beliefs around money. It’s for those of you who know that a larger financial goal is in your future. And it’s for those of you somewhere in between.
If you’re ready for our “hot take” on all things money (some of it gets pretty fired up too), check out this week’s episode. And by all means, if you have your own hot take on any of the money topics we discuss, I want to hear from you - reply back with your hot take.

Exposed...this week I’m getting really real with you, I’m exposing myself and the biggest money mistake I’ve made in over 4 years.
I’m sharing it with you in full transparency and because there are many lessons and insights for you within this mistake I’m currently cleaning up.
The truth is that we all make mistakes, especially in our businesses (and anyone online telling you otherwise is lying).

Last year, I realized I wanted to burn down my business because nothing felt like it was working.
Can you relate to that?
On paper, my business was working: revenue and leads were coming in and I was profitable. But the business was feeling heavy and hard.
So I burned it down.
Tune in to this week’s episode for the inside track on the burning down process, and to hear about our fully renovated and rebranded program.

After years of refining my offers, here are some lessons I’ve learned more about:
I touch on all of these during a conversation I had inside The Bold Profit Academy with member Heidi Taylor and my team thought the information was too valuable to not share with you on the podcast too, so it’s been released to you this week on the show.

I’ve got a special guest on the podcast, Danielle Dinkelman, and I couldn’t be more excited for you to hear our conversation.
You know I only bring on guests that I think embody what we’re all about here, that inspire me, or that have big insights to share - Danielle is a magic mix of all these things.
On the show we talk about showing up - for ourselves, our businesses, our families, you name it, showing up for our own lives. This is something I really care about, it’s showing up that I think makes or breaks successful businesses.
The other topic we speak about you know I care about: women and money, and why it’s so important we are financially empowered.
If you’re ready to be in the energy of someone who shows up, who takes action, who knows what it takes to feel good and how that all intersects with money.

In business, there are eight stages (usually people talk about five, but I’ve added a couple).
Within each of these stages, it’s important for you to be able to identify where you are right now, which stage you are in, so you can make proper decisions based on your stage.
I want to share about these eight stages now because I'm seeing a lot of women sitting in indecision and not knowing what to do next, and quite frankly, that's harmful.
So this week I want to give you the eight stages of business, help you identify where you're at, what you can expect in that stage, and how I can help you in each of those stages, so you know exactly what to do.
This is a longer episode, but it’s probably one of the most valuable. In fact, it’s so valuable that I’m asking you to really listen to it, take notes, sit with the check boxes I offer, and share with your other business owner colleagues - I really believe that this episode could save someone's life, or livelihood, or maybe both.
