This was a crazy episode. Lots of comedy talk, news, and a the guest getting retribution from someone who wronged him live on the podcast. It was long overdue as Tanc is one of the comics Brandon and I have done the most shows with and it was worth the wait. 

Today on the podcast we have good friend of the pod, funny stop regular, and fast food mask collector Bill Stone. It was a great episode but there's really not much to tell you that we talked about because it was basically all about comedy. We got disconnected with about 20 minutes left in the episode so the last 20 minutes Bill might sound a little different because he was on a cellphone but I did my best to make it seamless. We got to listen to a clip of a local guy who now lives in LA Chris Clem. Enjoy.

We talked to Bill about his many career stops before becoming a full time comedian. We got into some of the sports scandals for our news segment and finished up with a talk about Gary Shandling. Today on the podcast a long overdue talk with Patrick Madison. He's one of our fellow Funny Stop regulars and someone who's become a pretty good friend in the last year. We talked about some of the steps he's taken in the past year to improve as a comic and find his voice on stage. We got into the Matt Gaetz controversy, the Nike/Lil Nas X lawsuit, Florida's toxic waste, and the most petty boss I've ever heard of. Patrick brought us a clip of the legend George Carlin to wrap up the show. 

Today on the Pod we have Britton Grace a comedian/poet(something new we discovered about him). Started by getting caught up on what Brandon did on vacation. We talk comedy as always but he lets also us in on the world of Poetry open mics/showcases. We had a minute where he had to step away to see what his kids were going on about but we left it in because we recorded the episode later than usual this week and didn't have time to do a lot of editing. We also talked about John's week of lessons that included a less than an ideal performance at Hilarities on the "Jokes On You" show and a performance earlier in the week when he learned to not imply that a crowd is racist with 10 minutes left to go in a set. We commented on some news including police brutality, voter suppression in Georgia, "Bagel Karen", and "Ted Cruz in the Wild". Britto's comic he brought a clip of was Katt Williams and it's one of my favorite bits as well. This was a jam packed episode. Enjoy. 

This is the first episode of the show I've done without Brandon and it kind of went off the rails. I had on two of our best friends in comedy Carter Daugherty and Jimmy Killius. We didn't stick to the format at all it's just a conversation between friends who haven't been together in awhile. We talked about what Carter has been up to down at Miami and how Jimmy's first couple weeks of hosting LVT is going. We also talked about what makes Hannibal Buress such a great comedian. It's Tuesday! Which means a new pod. Today we had Brennen Rigda on the podcast. He is a newer comic that Brandon and I saw and thought had some potential at funny stop. We like to talk to people just starting out every once in awhile to see what that experience is like. We talked about what he thinks he needs to work on to get better. We also got into some news about Texas, Tucker Carlson, and a local legend passing away for the second week in a row. Brennen brought us a very timely bit from Bill Burr called "we need a plague..."
