            On today's pod we talk to Jordan Euell and we covered a lot. Started with the typical comedy during covid talk and got an update on what Jordan has been doing since we haven't seen him at shows very often. We talked about what it's like being single during covid and how dumb covid weddings are. But if you're dead set on not waiting to be married and don't mind killing grandma in the process you might be able to hire Jordan as your DJ. For our news segment we talked about the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientist, Trump paying for a recount in Wisconsin just to discover even less people voted for him, and why Alabama shouldn't be allowed to have senators. We then talk about one of Jordan's inspirations in comedy, Chris Rock.

Today on the pod one of the guys Brandon and I have gotten to know pretty well post covid Drew Gigis. He's hilarious and he's tall as shit. We talk about covid and how it's starting to suck again, what's going on in the news, and how crazy anxiety can get. Drew's comic that has inspired him is a clip from David Cross and it's pretty timely. Happy Native American murder day everyone!

      We decided to do something with this episode and have on a brand new comic to remind us what it was like before comedy became our whole lives. Brooke has a background in improv so she has a lot to work with on stage and she also had a lot of questions for us. This was a great conversation and we actually stayed away from talking about politics in this one.  We went pretty long in the conversation portion and pretty short in the news portion on this one. Wrapped it up with the second clip of Nate Bargatze we've had on the pod. 

Trump is over and we have Ray Roberts on the pod. Ray is a local guy that recently moved to Wisconsin and we figured some people might miss him and want to tune in? We had a great conversation with him about comedy to start and we started with a really good point from Ray on how to approach current event jokes and adjust them to keep them in your act after they're not really all that current anymore. We talk a lot about what the election means and what it doesn't mean as well as what Ray believes the problem with out political system is. He's actually worked on a political campaign before so he has kind of a rare perspective on the matter. We wrap the pod up with a clip from Patrice O'neal and a little more comedy talk. Ray will be back in town doing shows towards the end of the year so make sure you check him out.      This episode starts the only way an episode with Ray DeVito should start, with him interrupting our intro song to shit on it. Ray is a New York comic who started in Cleveland and has recently become a friend of the show. We talk to him about what it's like to perform in NYC, work with big networks, and how comedy became his full time job. We also got into two of the guys that influenced Ray when he was first starting out after we got into a little bit of election talk. In this Episode of Brown Petri Dish we talk to Jeff Shaw and it was a great conversation and pretty informative for comics. We talk about what the comedy scene was like in the 80s when Jeff started and how different it is now. We also discussed his experience with cruise lines and the stigma that sometimes gets attached to it. We did a short news segment and then got into a comic that has mentioned on the podcast several times Emo Phillips. We listen to his genius bit about religion and discuss the clip and why Emo was an inspiration to Jeff.
