The Bottom Shelf

Before Chris Evans became the Star Spangled Warrior known as Captain America, there was Matt Salinger.  But the 1990’s Captain America doesn’t seem to get a very patriotic salute. Is this film better than the critics say? Or does it truly belong, on the bottom shelf?

In 1998, martial artist, James P Bennett, decided to present to the world a classic good versus evil movie. His vision was full of action packed moments of martial arts, motorcycles and other major productions elements. The Final result… is considered to be one of Ireland’s worst films of history. But is there hope for this film? Or does it truly belong… on The Bottom Shelf?

Legend has it that at the end of every rainbow that there is a Leprechaun with a pot of gold. In 1993, director Mark Jones thought that pot of Gold would be an actual movie about an evil and sarcastic Leprechaun… The box office and critics immediately said no… but is it as a bad as they say? Is the “Luck of the Irish” with this film as our crew reviews it? Or does it truly belong, on the Bottom Shelf?
