This work of believing that Jesus requires makes the crowds grumble against him. Jesus identifies himself as living bread which he gives for the life of the world. Jesus further explains that it is the Father who draws those who come to believe. Some are offended and no longer follow him. Pastor Lloyd asks the question, will I believe the Jesus I have created in my mind or the Jesus of the Bible? Trusting in the Jesus of the Bible means we will not sit idly silent when the gospel is maligned in the promotion of evil.
