Thanks to Spangar for introducing comic books it was only a matter of time before Danny was allowed to break his silence on the manga genre. He goes through his history and introduction to the media and why his love for the Japanese product is a little more conflicting than his other loves. He then goes through his history with the review material and why it was so important to the person he was at the time and why he can't wait to challenge himself with a return to the product. Not only an engaging look at the genre, but also a conversation on art and chapter structure, Danny doesn't let his nostalgia blind him but also he can praise the mangaka for the talent he once misunderstood. A nice introspective at something that means something totally different in a genre he has long wanted to explore.

Most things in life are subjective. How they come across to an audience or specific individual is complicated. It can change, warp, with time. But is that change, whether scorn or endearment, a result of the product or the consumer? Perhaps that question is subjective, too. Regardless, Danny is facing that very question. His love for this specific product is out match by most fictional material. Not many products hold such a place in his heart as this. With that in mind how can someone so clouded review said material? Well, Danny gives it his best and he can only hope that the words on the page still ring true in his heart as they did when he first read them. How relevant. Just when the project finally gets the call up to the big leagues and gets that illustrious green-light to beginning adapting its content into an anime, Glen and Lindworm are thrown into a pandemic narrative. filled with some of the most poignant medical banter, as well as some well structured philosophical conversations on race and purpose, this fan-service heavy light novel goes deep into the psyche of humanity, even if it's quite possible you miss it because you're distracted by a genuinely funny plot. Challenging his grievances, Danny has to approach this novel in a different manner and tries to look beyond his trope-scope and give this novel its due.

Sometimes regarded as the 'worst' of the series, how does book six in the 'Harry Potter' franchise fare under the critical and cynical eyes of Allen and Danny? While both of them go hard into the novel for the mistake of being entirely a set-up novel, Danny gives weight to the incredible cinematography and Allen to the subtle and poignant philosophical and psychological changes happening inside the teenage mind of Harry. That and they have a ton of fun hammering down of Dumble for his mischievous ways and the corny teenage rom-com nature of the book and how Rowling fantastically made it realistically awkward. As always, too, there is that intense debate over what the movie removed and how and why that affected the overall enjoyment and statement of both medias.

Perhaps one of history's greatest events; D-Day, the massive amphibious invasion conducted by the allied forces. Operation Overlord, Normandy, France. But who was the enemy really? Hollywood and time has cast a shadow on the nation of Germany and even today the totality of their people suffer for the evil of the few while the heroics of the allies will be forever personified as the justified. History is filled with powerful people, some of whom arose through war and through sheer will power - and a lot of luck - changed the history of their countries forever. Returning to his favorite time period, Danny discusses one of the most successful Great War veterans and how their passion and drive for revolution would take their archaic, "Sick Man of Europe" country from empire to democracy. The change wasn't simple, but because of their youth and the age in which they lived this individual was sculpted to bring revolution.
