Urban fantasy has been a confusing genre for Danny. Some of his favorite authors have established series in the genre and a few of the first books he used to ignite this literature renaissance were in the urban fantasy genre but lately a few of the tropes have worn on his enjoyment. So why not try an urban fantasy by one the one and only Brandon Sanderson. Joining him on his journey is the cousin Spangar and together they talk about Sanderson's style and how this new trilogy compares to his other works. Danny also goes through positives and negatives as well as how much the protagonists drives this story forward. Can Sanderson break the lull of urban fantasy for Danny? Find out in this new and exciting episode!
