The Brothaship

Dragon Ball Super introduced fans to the multiverse; but not in the way Marvel or other comic book franchises have explored this lore. Instead, the DB universe has expanded, bringing in 12 new universes to the series; 13 in total. Our favorite characters we learned live in Universe 7. A universe’s “twin universe” is the corresponding universe in which its numerical value adds up to 13 when paired. Therefore, Universe 7’s twin universe is Universe 6. Twin universes bear a lot of similarities such as inhabiting the same type of species. If Matt and Trav are Universe 7, then on today’s episode their guest is from Universe 6. She is a content creator and avid Dragon Ball fan just like the fellas of DB4L. Joining today’s Dragon Call all the way from New Zealand, the funny, knowledgeable, and charismatic Miss Majin!

Come one, come all...the mightiest villain in the industry has decided to spare the Dragon Ball 4 Life crew and entertain them by answering their Dragon Call. There’s an age-old hipster take of not wanting your favorite band to become mainstream, but becoming mainstream doesn’t always need to have a negative connotation. Anime has historically been a closeted interest for most, but in the recent years, it has reached a level of popularity in which we’ve never seen before. This expansion has blossomed new and diverse talent that have proven to be mainstays in this game for a long time. For today’s Dragon Call, this guest has exhibited a personality and talent that many will gravitate towards. They are featured in Made in Abyss, The Aselian Journeys, and many more! They also have a voice that the people need to hear more of on their music streaming services. Please give a warm welcome to the multi-talented Maya Fatheena!

Matt and Trav are back to discuss our first live event Cos-Palooza and Chapter 92 of the Dragon Ball Super Manga, but if we are being completely honest there's nothing in the chapter you did not already see in the movie and we have a problem with that. Tune in to hear us reflect on the crazy fun that was Cos-Palooza and air our grievances over the lack of additions to the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Movie in its Manga adaptation.

If you have pictures, videos, or memories to share regarding cos-palooza please tag them with #Cospalooza shoot us a DM on instagram @DB4L_POD or an email at [email protected] we would love to share them too!

Royalty runs in the bloodline this episode. Only the mightiest can take the stage for this Dragon Call. We’ve had numerous queens join the show, but never a prince. A voice that many 90s babies heard in the morning as they ate their cereal on a Saturday morning or packing their backpack for the bus stop. The accolades speak for themselves; the resume is so lengthy it would turn this episode description into a CVS receipt. We ask that the Dragon Ball 4 Lifers summon ALL of their MIGHT and tap into this episode, as it is a very special one. The Prince of all Saiyans answers today’s Dragon Call – Mr. Christopher Sabat himself!

Episode Description: For every Dragon Call, Matt or myself will start the episode and Matt will finish. However, today’s guest is a Master in finishing his opponents. Some might say he’s so cold, he’s Sub-Zero. Others might warn you to watch out because he could poke you like a Scorpion. But in actuality, this man is self-disciplined, tactful, and just an all-around great guy. Patience is a virtue and the Dragon Ball 4 Life team has patiently waited for this interview, channeling our inner 90s baby as we prepare to be taken to the dojo. A master in martial arts, an actor of many talents, and the voice behind Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, and Reptile for the 1992 Mortal Kombat video game, please welcome Master Daniel Pesina.

Laughter can be the best medicine and with the right dosage, all pain and stress can be lifted in an instant. Without comedy, how would people be able to be honest with themselves and their flaws? Or without comedy, how would people make light of dire situations? In order to have fun in life, people must be a little wacky with themselves. This week’s Dragon Call guest is not a Crank Yanker, but she is a person who is open, honest, witty, and outright funny. Oh and she just happens to be the voice actor of the son of everyone’s favorite Leaf Village ninja (Matt will probably disagree since he hates all protagonists). Currently voicing the role as Boruto, this week’s guest resume doesn’t end there with her also starring in Sailor Moon, Kid Cosmic, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, Final Fantasy XV, and many more! The Dragon Ball 4 Life Team is honored to welcome Amanda Miller! Tap in.
