What a great job being a Liberal politician is, behavior that would get anyone in any office or shop job in the country sacked, is continually forgiven. As the Liberals try the latest move to stop the wildfire of misogyny engulfing the party, by moving staff or sending them for empathy training on how to not hate women quite so publicly, how can they fix a cultural and systemic problem with women they still deny exists?
To be fair raped Liberal staffer, Brittany Higgins, has had a good run. I didn't think the rabid right would let her get away with being a hero for so long, but like the first comedian to joke about a touchy subject, now sacked blow-hard DJ Jeremy Cordeaux has broken that dam. Expect more attacks to follow. His comments however are Olympic sized stupid, yeah Jeremy, I think a drunk woman could reasonably expect not to be raped inside the security laden house of government, where you work, in a ministers office, by a senior member of staff YOU IDIOT.
Four weeks ago I posted that the Brittany Higgins rape scandal would finally be the thing to bring down Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison - a month on that noose has tightened. As the audit trail of lies moves ever closer to this serial denier of responsibility, the day draws long for this vile human being and his woeful, incompetent, lying leadership.
With rape, misogyny and sexism scandals engulfing Scott Morrison's Liberal government, stop this disgraceful push to pretend this is a bi-partisan problem, because it happens once to the Labor Party for every hundred times it happens to the Liberals. This lets the Liberals off the hook and ensures they never change. It is not across politics, it's not everyone, it's not Labor and it demeans the women harmed to say it is. Sexism, misogyny, entitlement, anti-feminism and female abuse are a systemic and cultural parts of the Liberal Party.
In one of the ABC flagships best ever shows, Four Corners forensically details the time line of the rape of Liberal Party staffer, Brittany Higgins, in the offices of government, by a senior Liberal Party advisor and the subsequent cover up. I go through piece by piece as it shows how awful it all was in furious detail and the impossibility that Prime Minister Scott Morrison didn't know.

An exhaustive look at that loaded question and everything it could mean - ending with a yes or no answer.
Yet again the Australian news media is presenting the farcical collapse of the media bargaining code as actually being in place (it isn't - even the government said they'd wait and see) and that it is responsible for Murdoch signing million dollar deals with Facebook (it isn't - these deals relate to the new Facebook News content, are happening globally and have NOTHING to do with the media bargaining code). STOP LYING.
Why do we pretend this industry schmooz fest is the Oscars for music, when no award is ever based on how good the music is, solely sales and how much the industry backs it. Truly a worthless award - like giving out Oscars based on box office or how much an actor is paid.
A title way more controversial than the content - instead a deeper look at the issue and how it relates to sport in general, how much more complicated that is than on the surface and how it's a discussion we can have without losing our minds.
On International Women's Day (don't worry girls, they'll be coming for that next) a look at the way the worlds largest oppressed and marginalised group are the only ones to not have ownership of their own issue, story, politics, self-definition and identity and how that process is systemic.
