I was at an event that had some great information that everyone really needs to know and right now, with the way the world is operating, will this bring alot of changes that are going to benefit you, the home owners!!

i couldnt cover all the info in this episode so will go through more in future episodes, though going through the stats on the changes in housing approvals, starts and completions is leaving alot of possibility for changes that are going to be economically beneficial!! and thats what we are hoping for, prices have become some of the scariest things to consider when it comes to your home, and if the demand drops then it can only mean one thing for everyone!

Here are some of the stats i was discussing today:

Building approvals Feb 23 3917 total new home approvals, -45% change on Feb 22 2878 detached houses, -10.1% change on Feb 22 989 aparts units, -74.7% change on Feb 22 $327million home renovations, +4.6% change on Feb 22

some changes there that are quite surprising but at the same time not surprising when considering all the factors of the past 2 years.

The long asked question!! how the F do we find good tradespeople?? we get this alot and have alot of the same challenges but we certainly do have ways of finding and sifting through the wheat and chaff. definitely get on this if you are finding it hard to lock people in to your project!!

How responsible are we as the industry professionals for what is happening!! certainly not saying the situation happening with everyone in the industry isnt our responsibility, moreso looking at what are we not doing to ensure everyone gets the best!!

I am throwing out my view today on whether this issue is systemic or limited to just trades and builders, does it go up the tree to other professionals and possibly even the governing bodies.
