In Episode 7, I share my experience of the thrill of being called out-of-the-blue by a prospect who is overloaded, time-strapped and looking for my help. The prospect is in desperate need to alleviate the bottlenecks that are preventing him from moving at the pace he needs in his business. I describe how the promising opportunity begins clear, straight and upright, then slowly begins to tilt sideways and fades to silence during negotiations. I am including this small business experience as one of my Sideways Chronicles as this particular story is for anyone who has dealt with the 'hurry up, wait' scenario.
