He could be a heel in the WWE, but he is one of the best basketball players in Butte history.

In 1986, Scott Ferguson was named Montana's first Gatorade Award winner for boys' basketball. He was also named a Converse All-American.

Jackie (Street) McKenna was an outstanding track athlete for Butte High School. She was a key piece for the Bulldogs as Butte High shared the Class AA State girls title.

Jackie is currently an official in volleyball and wrestling. She is believed to be the first woman to referee a State wrestling tournament.

Dylan Cook spent the 2022 NFL season on the practice squad of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is an offensive lineman.

The 2016 Butte High graduate sure came a long way from his days playing quarterback for the Bulldogs. Cook, who missed almost all of his senior season at Butte High with an injury, played quarterback at MSU-Northern before heading to the University of Montana. The Grizzlies put Cook on the offensive line, and his career took off.

Connie Kenney is a true Butte icon. Her voice on the radio told us something important was happening. Her work at the Chamber of Commerce helped turn Butte around from the hard economic times of the 1980s.

Dr. Kellee Glaus is one of Butte's newest family practice physicians. Before she came to town, she was one of Montana's all-time great track & field jumpers.

She won the 2010 Montana Gatorade Track Athlete of the Year Award after winning her third straight Class B State title in the triple jump and her second straight in the long jump.
